Here you’ll find some useful tips and information that may come in handy if you’re planning a visit to one of our events and what you should expect if you are visiting us for the first time.
We like to think of our Fairs as community events and over many years we have enjoyed hearing lots of customer feedback, which is very important to us. It lets us know when we are getting things right and also when we are not quite on the mark. So please feel free to get in touch and share your experiences with us.
Our Fairs will vary in size and by the number of attractions, so this is just general information which could change a little at some venues. For more event-specific information please click here.
For some people, the excitement of coming to the Fair can get a little overwhelming. Quite often we see children setting off like rockets as soon as they set foot through the entrance. Please help us and our staff by keeping your little ones close by at all times. The last thing we want is a slip or a trip spoiling a great day out.
If you haven’t been to one of our Fairs in a long time or you’re a new customer, one of the first things you will notice is our admission charge at the entrance to the Fair. This was set up in 2004 because of a steady increase in anti-social behaviour and a general need to increase security at our Fairs. We decided to erect a perimeter fence around each venue and implement a security team to patrol the fair. We wanted to bring back the safe family atmosphere that a Fun Fair should have. Our entrance system gives us the opportunity to monitor who comes in and also to enforce some rules in our effort to make it safer for families.
This system offers many benefits for everyone’s safety and it has enabled us to provide more facilities and what we feel is a much better customer experience.
- Admission charge is £1 per person (children under 4 enter for free).
- Cash & Cards are accepted across the Fair.
- Dogs are allowed but must be kept on a lead.
- No bikes or ball games (we have a storage area)
- Alcohol is not permitted within the Fairground.
- Rides may have (max or min) height, weight and/or size restrictions.
- CCTV and security patrols are in operation.
- Please read safety notices on each attraction.
- Last admissions into the Fair approximately 20 minutes before closing time.
- The management reserve the right to refuse admission to the Fair and/or individual attractions.
